Please enjoy the love quotes in the scrolling cards below!

Do you have a favorite quote about love? Please share it with me!

Here are some quotes I love to share. How are these quotes relevant to you in your life beyond the yoga mat?

"Beyond the mind, the heart beats.” - Alana Fairchild

“PEACE- it does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.” - unknown

“Take more time to do less.” - Mynxie

“True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life.”

“Yoga is not to be performed; yoga is to be lived. Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; yoga cares about the person you are becoming. Yoga is designed for a vast and profound purpose, and for it to be truly called yoga, its essence must be embodied.” - Aadil Palkhivala, Fire of Love

Let’s Contribute to a Peace Love Revolution

What does this mean to me?

It means that when we act from a place of love, notice our breath, and connect to peace in our heart, we can love ourselves more and our thoughts, words, and actions will be aligned to offer happiness and freedom for all.

What does this look like?

If you are angry and you get in your car and that anger shows up on the road, that is road rage. It could kill you and others on your path. It is harmful journey. And if you get home unscathed physically, it will still be harming your mind and your heart. Peace begins with each of us. Slow down, notice the sensation of your breath. Join me for 5 minutes of mindfulness in this video.

Invite in a mantra. Try one of these or make up your own.

  • I can’t control everything, but I can control my reaction to it.

  • I am love. I am loved.

  • Let it be.

If we all were to stop and meditate we could have world peace because we would be at peace. A lot of people have a hard time being with themselves. So sometimes that looks like aggression towards others. Instead of what is most needed - connection to self. When we can’t sit with ourselves that’s a sign of intolerance - literally, noticing the things we can’t tolerate. The practice of yoga helps us learn to tolerate more, stand for more, and ultimately love more and find joy in the moment. Today and this week, I welcome you to invite in love for yourself and offer up love to someone outside of your inner circle.
